Tales of the Stormwind Regiment;
“What do you mean, both worgens died?” said the man sitting on the opposite side of the table of Marijn. The man on the other side of the table deemed to be a little odd, and somewhat rude. No matter the apearance, this man was one of the few council members. “Like I said, both of them perished in combat. They could have handed themselfs over, but refused. So I used deadly force to retreive my privates.” The man sighed deeply “Did you atleast find out about their motives?” Marijn shook his head slightly “Well, I spoke to them earlier, before they started attacking my privates... They spoke of equal rights for worgens... I told them, according to the law they already have equal rights... then they demanded money.” The man perked an eyebrow in responce “What happend after?”
Marijn leaned back in his chair, regaining the not so long ago memories “I went to give them the money, however... Only the female worgen was there. The other two had left with the hostage they kept.” The man nodded slightly before writing something down on the paper infront of him. “And you have the woman downstairs, right?” Marijn nodded sternly “And tell me, after all those merciless attacks... How -did- you manage to find them?” This time is was Marijn that perked his eyebrow. “What do you mean?” The man made a few meaningless hand gestures as he spoke “Well, you said you killed both worgens when they resisted, how did you manage to find them... I beleive that those two privates were missing at the time?” Marijn nodded slightly “Does it really matter how I found them?” the man frowned deeply before grabbing his quill, putting it in the bottle of inkt that stood next to it and writing something down again. “Did you already interegate the woman you took down into you’re cells?” Marijn shook his head slightly “We haven’t had the chance yet, we we’re to bussy taking care of these two dangerous criminals, however... Now that they are no longer any danger for our citizens and us, we can focus on her, and what kind of motivation those two had on doing what they did.” The man nodded slightly, not even looking up but continueing to write down.
A few moments later the council member had left. With a loud sigh Marijn strolled down the stairway towards the cells. Once downstairs he grabbed his keychain, put in the key, turned it abit untill hearing a clicking noice and opening the door, closing the door behind him and repeating the whole process only this time to lock the door. He could feel a cold chill run down his spine as he felt the anti-magic shield take away his ability to summon light. This truly was an awfull place to be, fitting for those criminals. He glanced around the cell, his eyes passing a few gnomes, elfs and humans. His eyes finally stopped at the female worgen that hung tiredly in her chains. Marijn walked up to her, behind his back he could hear the gnomes make a joke about the broom on his helmet but decided to ignore it. He stopped infront of the worgen and peered down at her, her head was hanging downwards to the ground. Marijn gently grabbed her head around the cheek and pulled her head up so she was forced to look at him.
“What is you’re name, miss?” The worgen sighed and decided it would be worthless to keep resisting the guards. In the end she only made it tougher on herself. With a broken voice she spoke “My name is... Allesia.” Marijn smiled faintly to himself to see the worgen that had misstreated his allies this way. Such a delightfull thing to see. “How are you feeling miss Allesia?” Marijn spoke with a gentle voice. “N-not... All to well...” Marijn nodded slightly and let go of her face, her head fell downwards untill it hung there again, this time she decided to move her head upwards herself. “So, I trust you must be hungry... Right?” She nodded slightly, her eyes regaining a little hope as the man mentioned food. “Well, I can get you you’re food... Yet, not for free...” The woman perked her eyebrows with some trouble and spoke “Wh-What do you want from me?” Marijn smirked slightly and peered past her body. The worgen following his gaze knew where this was going and attempted to back off abit, but invain. “Y-you... You woudn’t..!” Marijn laughed an amused laugh “Ohh, you should have seen you’re face... No, i’m not interested in you the slightest bit... Just tell me, what were the motives of you’re friends?” The worgen sighed sadly and glanced at the guard.
Marijn stared back with a passive smile on his face. She remembered how the man was when he was angry... She remembered the fierce bloodthirsty eyes. And how brutaly the man had slammed her head into a wall. It would be best to keep this man happy she thaught... Otherwise she wasn’t sure she would get out alive. Yet, to give him the anwsers he wanted that easily... No... “I don’t know why my brothers acted that way... Speaking about them... What did they do?” Marijn perked his eyebrow “No one told you then?” She shook her head slightly. “Well, let’s start with the beginning. After taking the girl, they raped her and let her bleed to death, luckily thanks to you I was still in time to make sure that she didn’t die... Along the days after that multiple good privates who woudn’t hurt a fly got taken by you’re -brothers-... All raped and left to bleed to death, multiple died. The worgen smiled slightly while Marijn didn’t pay attention. “We kept finding more and more cases about them... And then they took one of my good friends and my wife...” The worgen coudn’t help but smile brightly, she enjoyed the man’s suffering.
“I found them... Just as they were about to have their way with my friend and wife...” Marijn suddenly grabbed the woman’s face, finding her to be laughing. She quickly refrained her smile however this time a large smile apeared on Marijn’s face. “I knocked one out and killed the other... When the other one woke up, he begged for his pathethic life... I pierced his heart with my sword... I killed both you’re brothers with a smile... And I would do so with you aswell if you only give me the reason to...” The woman tried to get loose from the grib Marijn had on her cheek but was forced to look at the wide smile of Marijn, once again she feared the man. Such a brutal figure he was... Both her brother... Her brothers she spend most of her life with, ended by this man and he laughed about it, saying he would do the same...” Marijn let go of the woman and pushed her against the wall. He could feel all the prisoners staring at each and every action he made.
He cleared his throat, knowing he went a little overboard against the woman, but really he didn’t care to much. Small tears rolled over the worgens cheek as she thaught about her brothers. “Anyway” Marijn spoke “Tell me, why would you’re brothers do this?” She glared upwards at the everlasting passive smile of Marijn, she felt a cold chill run over her spine and finally decided to give in. “It were orders...” Marijn perked an eyebrow “Orders? From who?” The woman lowered her head but again Marijn grabbed her cheek with a fierce grip and pulled her head back up “From who, and what were the orders?” The woman sighed sadly before speaking again “The orders were from Master Daniel...” Marijn frowned “Master Daniel?” The woman nodded slightly “He had ordered us to ask for equal rights, he also told us you would refuse and say something like you did... Also he said to us that once they refused we should kill the hostage, or well... Do whatever we want with her, aslong as she dies... He also said that we should just rampage whatever guards we can find should one of us be taken prisoner....” Marijn let go of the woman’s cheek and frowned deeply. “Where can we find this.... Master Daniel?” The woman glanced away for a moment. “We have no idea... The master changes locations quite often... But we can leave letters at a certain place and one of his followers comes to pick it up and bring it to him.” Marijn rubbed his chin, thinking things over. “Well, I think I know something on how you can be of use to us...” She glanced upwards at Marijn, not happy with how things packed out for her.
A day after this, Marijn had decided to use the worgen to track down the leader. He let her write a letter to ask for a meeting. Then, he let her bring the letter to the meeting point, alone. However the area around them, surrounded with guards. In case someone might be watching the meeting spot. She returned to the guards without delivering any problems. She asked to meet at midnight at the lake, east of Goldshire. In three days from now.
Friday night, a little before midnight. Allesia the worgen had already taken place beside the lake. While she coudn’t see it from where she was standing, all around her laid heavily armed guards, ready to strike. While she didn’t seem like it, she was nervous as fell. She only met with their master a few times, each time was less pleasent. And now, meeting him all alone, without her two brothers to protect her... She could feel a chill running down her spine. There was also the chance the master didn’t show up. She kind of hoped for it, however she would be in trouble... And the last thing she wanted was to be in trouble with that monster of a man... She sighed deeply and suddenly felt a icecold hand upon her shoulder. In shock she jumped forward, nearly into the lake but managed to retrain herself. She turned around and faced the man she knew as master.
The man, about one meter, eighty tall stood there. His face, covered behind a think black scarf. He wore a thick black shirt, most likely the same kind of material as the scarf and the rest of his clothes. The man also had wide baggy leggings. And on his shoulders two black shoulderpads with an iceblue line around them. Over his head, a wide black hood that was attached to his cape. His long black cape was attatched with two black leather stripes to his shoulderpads. She could only see the man’s ice cold eyes. The man before her was ever so deadly in Allesia’s eyes. She trembled in fear as the man spoke with his low and dark voice. “What have you called me for, you said it was urgent?” Allesia who had lost all will for this mission decided that she had to talk, otherwise the man might become angry on her. Neither of the two she wanted to upset. This deadly man or the fierce guard. She slowly regained her breath and let out a soft sigh before speaking, her voice shattering the confidence she had built up to speak. Just her voice alone spoke enough, it termbled in fear. “Master Daniel... Thank you for coming.” She quickly fell to one knee and glanced at the floor. She prefered not looking at that frightning apearence. “Rise.” The man simply said, she could feel an invisible force, pulling her up on her feet, straightning her up. Waht did she just feel, was it the man thaat did that? “Now, what was so urgent?” The man spoke again with has dark and deep voice. She felt another wave of fear, shocking troughout her entire body. Or could have been fear, or pherhaps it was the master again. She coudn’t honoustly tell for sure. “I... My...” She coudn’t come out her words, she saw her master becoming inpatient. “You..?” She shook her head slightly, trying to gather the last bits of courage she had lost over the conversation. “Both my brothers died, master...” The man set a step forward. In shock of the sudden movement chills shot trough her body again. The man slowly got closer and stopped infront of her, his face only a finger length away from hers. The man slowly got closer to her face, she wanted to step back, to struggle... But she coudn’t move the slightest bit. If it was fear, or the man stopping her from moving. She was terrified nontheless. The man pulled his scarf down, his nose looked a little disformed as if it had been broken before. His eyes blue and cold. A smal scar leading from his lip downwards to his chin. The man placed a hand around her head and pulled her closer, he then plented his lips on hers. She coudn’t beleive it. He was kissing her. Her lips slowly started to feel colder and colder untill the man pulled his head away again. He adjusted his scarf so it covered most of his face again. In the mean time, Allesia just stood there, watching. She didn’t beleive what had just happend. She wondered where the guards were staying. They should have acted a long time ago. A shiver went down her spine as the man spoke again. “I never thaught you would sell me over to the guards my dear girl...” Her eyes widened, had he really noticed that they were not alone. “I will be back for you... However for now. I must leave you here. And to make sure you don’t tell them what happend here... I sealed you’re voice...” She was stunned in fear, did he really do that? She opened her mouth, fearing it was true... She attempted to speak, however not a single sound came trough. “And one final thing, they will attempt to let you write, so...” She could feel the invicible force surounding her hands before slowly wrapping itself around her fingers. Words could not describe the feeling she was feeling, the fear she felt, combined with the ability to not even move a muscle. “We will meet again...” Before she noticed the man standing before her dissapeared while leaving incredible pain at her hands, she glanced down to see what was causing the fear and saw her fingers, each one of them, broken. She cried out in pain and anguishment. She wasn’t sure what had just happend, but her fingers... What had he done!?
Friday night, a little before midnight. Allesia the worgen had already taken place beside the lake. While she coudn’t see it from where she was standing, all around her laid heavily armed guards, ready to strike. Marijn lied ready, his sword unsheethed and his shield strapped to his other arm. He glanced around him and noticed all the privates standing ready to capture the ‘master’ once he appeared. He took of his helmet and glanced over the rock he was lying behind. She was still standing there. Marijn wondered what the girl must be feeling but quickly shook it off him and focused. But what happens after he glanced back he coudn’t beleive. A chill, like he had never felt before ran down his spine and he saw Allesia suddenly swapping places without moving a muscle. He glanced at her as she looked down at her hands before she started to scream in pain and agony. Marijn quickly jumped over the rock he was lying behind and slided downwards the slope to the worgen. She fell to her knee’s, still looking at her hands. As Marijn got closer he saw the dislocated fingers of the woman. What happend!?
