Guild rules to be followed at all times.
1. Obviously as stated previously, we are a heavy roleplaying guild on a roleplaying server, that means all players MUST follow the RP rules set by Blizzard, and also play their characters to the best of their abilities at all times. This means no OOC chat in /s or /y as well as in /emote i.e don't use smileys or OOC type words such as lol, lmao, :), xD, etc. OOC communication should be done via, /w, guild chat, party chat, or raid chat.
2. VERY IMPORTANT! DO NOT EVER God-emote or power-emote or make your character overpowered, so when in an emote fight for example, NEVER do something like:
"/e stabs Fred in the leg with his sword."
Instead, you would always "try" or "attempt" to do something, ALWAYS, like this:
"/e attempts to stab Fred in the leg with his sword."
This gives the opposing player a chance to block or counter or move out of the way etc.
Overpowering your character is when for example your character manages to get out of a pretty much impossible or extremely hard situations without getting hurt or injured, never be afraid of losing a fight or getting injured - wounds heal, a reputation for being a god-emoter sticks.
I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH! Anyone caught doing this or anyone I hear of clearly doing this will be thrown out of the guild. All new members of the guild should and will be told this rule - even before joining, so no one can say they didn't know. Having said that, if a player genuinely didnt mean to or realise he/she was doing so and they fully regret doing so and will never do it again, then exceptions can be made, but only if officer feels they are genuine and it was a mistake.
3. Always try and come to guild events when possible, after all we are a roleplaying guild.
4. Although it isn't required of anyone, getting the RP add-on My Role Play or similar is a huge benefit for role-players. It allows you to add a second name to your character that others can see, swell as your rank, a description of your character and many more. Download here:

Also GHI (Gryphonheart Items) lets you create and more importantly receive player made items, this is very important to the guild as you will be given items such as handbooks and book of laws (that are fully readable), keys to the cell, your badge or medals etc. Download here:
wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/ghi.aspx
These two addons are used by pretty much all the RP community on Defias Brotherhood and you will benefit greatly by having them. If you have never used an add-on before and you need help installing it or using it, feel free to ask, I will gladly show you how, its very easy.
